Is there a Cost?

Nope! Pueblo Pride is free and open to everyone. Bring your friends, your family, and your fabulous self—we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Where is Pride?

Pueblo Pride takes place at Mineral Palace Park in Pueblo, CO.

Directions:
From I-25, take Exit 99B onto 13th Street. At the first light, turn right onto Santa Fe Avenue and continue straight into the park entrance. Signs and volunteers will help guide you to the celebration area!

What time does the event start and end?

Pueblo Pride begins with a parade around Mineral Palace Park at 10:30 AM, followed by the festival from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! Expect a variety of local food trucks and vendors offering tasty options. You're also welcome to bring your own snacks and water—especially to stay cool in the heat.

What should I bring?

We recommend:

  • Water bottles (there’s no running water in the park)

  • Sunscreen & sunglasses

  • Hats or umbrellas for shade

  • Lawn chairs or blankets

  • Service animals and well behaved, leashed pets are welcome - but please be prepared for hot weather and pick up after your animals

Are there things I shouldn't bring?

To keep Pride safe and welcoming for all:

  • Please leave alcohol, weapons, or illegal substances at home.

  • Be respectful of others' space, identities, and experiences.

Will there be bathrooms available?

Yes! Portable restrooms (including accessible options) will be available on-site.

Is Pride Accessible?

We are committed to making Pueblo Pride as accessible as possible:

  • The event is held on grass in Mineral Palace Park.

  • There are two accessible curb cuts/ramps leading into the main festival area.

  • A limited number of reserved accessible parking spots are available near each access point.

  • Additional accommodations or accessibility info will be posted closer to the event.

If you have questions or requests related to accessibility, feel free to contact us in advance at pride@socoequality.org

Why isn’t Pueblo Pride in June?

Great question! Pueblo Pride has historically been held in August to complement other regional celebrations:

  • Denver hosts Pride in June

  • Colorado Springs moved theirs to June, but used to be in July

  • Pueblo hosts in August, allowing folks to attend multiple Pride events across the Front Range without overlap!

We’ve also found that August tends to offer more favorable weather (besides the heat), though that’s changing year to year. We're always open to feedback and will be sending out a survey this year to learn what works best for our community.
